Practica Vs Milonga

What is a practica? A practica is a space in between tango classes and the social dance floor. MILONGA is the social dance party, the mood tends to be formal as well as the dress, and some measure of old-fashioned etiquette is expected. PRACTICAS are much more casual in behavior and in dress. Floor craft protocols are generally relaxed as compared to a milonga, specifically, it is ok to talk during the dance and impending traffic, within reason, while you work on a step. The practicas are dedicated to tango students and dancers of all levels, it is for those that want to practice, investigate and improve; steps, ideas, concepts, embellishments, musicality and technique. It is especially useful to practice things recently learned that are not ready to be debuted at the milonga. The idea is to create a creative and relaxed environment, where each person should use their right to make mistakes.

Pop-up Encuentro Solo Milonguero

Encuentro means a gathering or reunion of like-minded people, in our case aficionados of the Milonguero way of dancing tango. This is not a regular held milonga, I host it whenever there's opportunity of an open date or available space. Stay tuned for the next one.

Improve quicker by staying consistent in lessons and practicing on a regular basis
